Biography:

What College(s) Did You Attend? I went Baylor University and received my bachelor's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Gifted and Talented Education. I have two master's degrees, one from Baylor in Educational Psychology, and one from Amberton University in School Counseling.

Education History: This will be my eighth year in education. I taught 4th grade for 1 year and 5th grade for 5 years, and this is my second year as a counselor.

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: During my free time, I enjoy crafting, reading, baking, being outside, shopping, trying new restaurants, watching Baylor Bear’s football, and spending time with my friends, family, and cat.

Why is the IB PYP program important to you?

I love that the IB PYP program teaches learners so many critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I believe that teaching students to be open-minded and world-focused creates caring people who strive to be lifelong learners.
