What College(s) Did You Attend?:  

I first attended Collin College and moved over to University of North Texas.

 

Education History: 

This is my eighth year in education. I started my career teaching 2nd grade for 2.5 years. I moved to 4th grade math and science for 2.5 years. I moved to Huffman and taught 4th grade and 5th grade and now am back in 4th grade teaching math.

 

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School:  

Outside of school I love going to the dog park with my pup Charlie. I enjoy reading and hiking as well. 

 

Why is the IB PYP program important to you?

I wanted to be a part of the IB PYP at Huffman to help students explore, inquire, and be engaged in ideas not only that they are interested in, but are important in our world. I wanted to be a part of something that makes a big difference with our kids not only at school, but in their lives.
