What College(s) Did You Attend?:  I attended the University of North Texas where I received my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary studies. Go Mean Green! 

 

Education History: This will be my twelfth year in education. I previously taught kindergarten for two years and I have been a Huffman Hawk  pre-kindergarten teacher for ten years! 

 

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School:  I love spending time with friends and family, my young daughter keeps me very busy. Also, participating in activities at my church and binge watching TV shows whenever possible.

Why is the IB PYP program important to you? I love the explorative approach to teaching and learning. I love that the IB program allows the students the ability to make choices and inquire rather than the teacher being the focus.
