What College(s) Did You Attend?: I earned my Associate Degree in Early Childhood from Brookhaven College.

Education History: I have four years of experience working in daycare, along with two years in an after-school program at Prince of Peace Catholic School. Before joining Plano ISD, I taught Pre-K for two years. I am now in my fourth year with the district and my second year teaching in Special Education. I am also earning my teacher certification through the Quest program.

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, exploring new places, reading, and trying creative projects like crafts and cooking.

Why is the IB PYP program important to you? The IB PYP program is important to me because it encourages students to be curious, independent thinkers who see connections between what they learn in school and the real world. I value how it nurtures the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—while promoting global awareness and respect for different perspectives. It gives students the tools and confidence to become lifelong learners.
