Education History: This will be my fourth year teaching! When I lived in Dallas, I taught at Trinity Basin Preparatory as a second grade math and science teacher. When I moved back home to Plano, I taught second grade at the same elementary school I attended and in my own Second grade classroom!
Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: I love playing board games with my friends and family! I get to teach sunday school and AWANAs at my church. My husband has two snakes named Perry the Python and Bilbo the Boa. I have two lizards named Jay the Dragon and Scooter the Skink. We love our reptiles!
Why is the IB PYP program important to you? The IB PYP is important to me because I believe developing critical thinking skills is essential to navigating the increasingly complex world. I value the IB approach as it empowers children to become active participants in their learning journey.
