What College(s) Did You Attend?:  I attended Texas Woman’s University where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology.  

 

Education History: This is my third year at Huffman Elementary and I have taught first grade every year. 

 

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: I like to read and stitch/embroider. 

 

Why is the IB PYP program important to you? The IB PYP is important to me because I think it is very important for students to feel like they have agency over their learning. I believe that this leads to students becoming fully rounded, life long learners.
