What College(s) Did You Attend?:  I went to Texas State University in San Marcos. I got my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education).

 

Education History: This will be my 12th year teaching. I taught 2nd grade for 9 years, and have been teaching 4th grade for 3 years.

 

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: During my free time, I love to read! I read so many books throughout the school year - especially mystery books! I also like to travel, spend time with friends, shop, and try new restaurants. 

 

Why is the IB PYP program important to you?

The IB PYP program is important to me because it helps students explore, inquire, and be engaged in ideas not only that they are interested in, but are important in our world. I wanted to be a part of something that makes a big difference with our kids not only at school, but in their lives.
